Kimono Stylist Sala Okabe: It’s hard to find my type of summer kimonos especially for formal occasion because of most of summer kimono’s color are blurry to make themself cooler. I understand that, but I just don’t feel like wearing those kind of color! I found this “my type of “ formal summer kimono when I went back to Japan this winter. Now what I need is just occasion to wear it…that is the hardest part… フォーマルの夏の着物は涼しげに見せるためにと言いますか、どうもぼやっとした色が多くてなかなか着たいようなものが少ないのですが、今回日本でビンテージのいい色の付下げを見つけました。上前にシミがあるので明るいところに着て行くというよりは夜のお出かけ用って感じでしょうか。それか長羽織羽織ってしまうかですね。一番の問題は着て行くようなフォーマルなお呼ばれがなかなかないと行くところです。
